The whole trip was amazing, our guides, trip leaders, the Medical professionals, the food, the communities, were all amazing to be with and experienced. I've learned a lot, met new friends, and overall loved it all. Thank you Medlife for this opportunity and I hope to continue with further trips.

I had a fantastic trip with MedLife. We had the opportunity to see a side of Guatemala that is not usually broadcast to tourists. One of inequities, structural disadvantages, and also one of hope. It felt like we could make a real difference to people’s lives under the superb supervision of the MedLife staff and team of healthcare professionals. The organisation of the trip was seemless - from transport to accommodation to food, everything was lovely and already taken care of. They were very attentive to my dietary requirements or if any issues arose during the trip. The feedback i would like to provide is a guide for basic Spanish phrases (eg. Asking for consent, explaining triage station) - we were very lucky to have a wondeful group of Puerto Rican students who could help us to translate but I think it would be better to not have to rely on that. This is also related to a bit more training in general, particularly for stations interacting with the patients. It felt like a lot of information to only be getting the night before clinic started and I think a few people felt underprepared. I would like to thank MedLife for an inspirational week and I hope to be involved in the future
