If you are on the fence about this trip, let this be a sign to GO ON THE SLT! This trip has to be like the top 10 experiences of my life. I went into this trip thinking I was just gonna shadow some doctors and get some community service hours, and I left with a whole different view of MEDLife. It feels so surreal whilst you are there and watching all of your hard work throughout the school year come to life. My only warning is that once you start going on SLT's you'll never want to stop. Thank you so much, Gladys, for being the BEST CHAPERONE EVER! Not only did I feel so safe and secure there, but I also had so much fun. Gladys made it her MISSION to ensure we all were included in anything and everything we did. The trip was so fun, and I would do it a thousand times again!
