Sunday is a day off for everyone. Optional tours, for an extra fee, include exploring "Mailisita," relaxing at a hot spring, or hiking to a waterfall with a visit to a Chagga Tribe coffee farm. These tours offer views of Kilimanjaro's churches, villages, and insights into the local economy and security. Alternatively, you can enjoy a leisurely day before the week begins. Sunday night includes an orientation meeting covering Tanzanian history, the week's expectations, safety guidelines, and a MEDLIFE Mobile Clinic training session.

At 8:00am, participants and trip leaders embark on a reality tour, offering insights into Tanzanian lifestyle, culture, and health care. The tour includes visits to a police station and Kibosho Hospital, followed by a light hike through the rainforest and villages, discussing Tanzania’s history and social issues. After lunch, a brief tour of Moshi Town and a visit to the open-air market for money exchange precede a stop at a local coffee shop for relaxation.

Mobile Clinics are held daily in rural villages like Kikavu Chini, Rundagai, Kilimamswaki, and Kirua, located 45-60 minutes from the hotel. Participants assist in setting up clinic stations, which operate from 9 am to 3-5 pm, seeing 50 to over 200 patients per day. Volunteers rotate through various stations, aiding local health professionals and gaining insight into local health issues. Patients receive free care and medications. Post-clinic, there's free time before dinner, with optional meetings to discuss medicine and development projects.
