Known as the most beautiful city in South America and the gateway to Machu Picchu, Cusco has become the home of a booming tourism industry. Yet, these communities are also rich in culture, tradition, and resilience. Many are located in remote areas where access to basic services such as education, healthcare, and transportation remains limited. Families often rely on agriculture as their primary source of income, but their livelihoods can be affected by unpredictable weather and natural events. In some villages, roads are unpaved, schools have few resources, and the nearest health center may be hours away.
Highlights of the Week:
Learn about the challenges faced by low-income communities on a Reality Tour
Gain experience shadowing healthcare local professionals at a Mobile Clinic
Help bring safer homes to families with a Development Project
Build bridges across cultures by connecting with community members
Gain new perspectives, build meaningful connections, and reconnect with purpose.
Grow as a leader. Make the SLT the first step toward leading your Chapter and inspiring others
